On day one we've heard from the excellent Mentors who've inspired the participants and demonstrated the value of placing individual research into the wider context. This was followed by the first exercise, which mapped the current landscape for patient specific medical devices in S Africa.
So far, we've generated some heated discussions around the barriers, which will be useful to place the next round of activities into context.
Days two and three will start to focus thinking and begin to build a picture of where future research should develop.
We were also very lucky for CUT to host a trip to the local sights.
